Industry Intensive
Train like a professional dancer — a high-level summer intensive covering multiple styles, technique, improv, and performance skills. Designed for serious dancers looking to level up.
Prodigy Convention
A regional dance convention and competition experience for MDC dancers. Masterclasses from guest choreographers, adjudicated performances, and unforgettable memories with the team.
Regular Summer Classes
All of our regular class styles — ballet, jazz, hip-hop, acro, contemporary, tap, and more — run throughout the full summer session. Perfect for maintaining skills and trying something new.
MDC Summer Calendar
Competitive team members have a full summer of rehearsals, conventions, and nationals on the calendar.
Choreography Days
MDC teams begin learning their competition pieces over the summer so they're fully prepared when the fall competition season starts.
Nationals
Qualifying MDC teams compete at national dance competitions — the culmination of a full year of hard work and dedication. Dates announced each season.
Guest Masterclasses
Industry guest instructors join us over the summer to teach masterclasses in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop — broadening every dancer's perspective.

Summer Camp FAQs
Absolutely. Summer is actually a great time to start dance because the pace is slightly more relaxed and there's no recital pressure. New students receive a free trial week so they can try before committing. Our instructors are experienced at welcoming first-time dancers of all ages.

The K-Pop Dance Camp is a specialty program where students learn choreography inspired by popular K-Pop groups and artists. It covers the signature styles — sharp formations, synchronized choreography, and the performance quality that defines K-Pop. Open to all skill levels ages 7 and up.

Students who dance through the summer maintain and often improve their skills significantly, putting them ahead when fall classes begin in late August. Summer is also the perfect time for new students to get comfortable before the regular fall-winter-spring year starts.
