Moves also has an in-house Dance Company and Pre-Company, offering dancers the chance to take their training to the next level. Moves Dance Company is a nationally recognized, award-winning competitive program for dancers ages 4–18. Company dancers train August through June and compete regionally from February through June, developing strong technique, performance quality, and teamwork. Known for organization, sportsmanship, and family-focused culture, Company has earned countless entertainment, costuming, and specialty awards, and has been honored multiple times by the ADCC (The Association of Dance Competitions & Conventions) for studio excellence. A highlight of our team spirit is the beloved Moves Muscle prop crew, made up of dedicated parents and siblings who help bring our productions to life. Weekday rehearsals allow families to keep weekends free outside of competition season, and our dancers gain not only performance skills, but also confidence, discipline, and lifelong friendships.

For families seeking a lighter commitment, Moves Pre-Company provides a fantastic introduction to the competitive world with fewer hours and competitions, while still laying a strong foundation for future growth. Pre-Company dancers perform at community events and attend three local competitions each season, focusing on teamwork, performance confidence, and technical growth in a supportive environment.

Beyond our core programs, Moves dancers have opportunities to earn scholarships at prestigious dance conventions, perform in professional-quality recitals, and prepare for high school and collegiate dance teams. Through these experiences, students expand their skills, showcase their artistry, and take the lessons learned at Moves beyond the studio into all areas of life.
